Collin County Aggie Moms

Programs planned

for upcoming meetings

We will start holding our general membership meetings in September--the third Monday of each month. Be on the lookout for further information to connect virtually and, hopefully, in person at some point in the future.

This is the schedule of programs planned for the year:

Aggie Moms Connecting

to host virtual small groups

Aggie Moms Connecting has set up some Zoom meetings for us to network in small groups, organized by Collin County cities. The first two meetings were held Sun., Aug. 16, followed by two others on Mon., Aug. 17, at 7 and 8 p.m.

Watch for future info on more small group gatherings, both virtually and in person. Contact Anne McGlaughlin or Linda Foster with questions: CCAMConnect@aggienetwork.com.

Membership Spotlight:

Pres-Elect says 'howdy'

Howdy, I'm Kathy Terzis, class of '90 and your President-Elect for this year's Collin County Aggie Moms' Club as well as the Spring Fundraiser Chair, which will be our 2nd Annual Golf Tournament.

I am married to Tim, class of '89, and we have four children: Auriel c/o '15, Ashley c/o '16, Annabelle Leigh c/o '21, and Aristotle c/o '22.

We live in Celina and love going back to Aggieland any chance we can. To us, it just feels like home. We are franchisees for nine Sport Clips locations in Allen, McKinney, Sherman, West Plano, and Carrollton.

I enjoy being an active participant of CCAM because of the loving, caring women who make up this organization. I have developed some very special friendships while also giving my time to a university I love. The more involved you become, the more you will get out of it. As the saying goes, "For it is in giving that we receive" (St. Francis). I may be a bit biased, but I think the more you learn about Texas A&M the more you will fall in love with this university.

Thanks & Gig'em,

Kathy Terzis '90
